You can add an employee yourself or invite him to your company to enter the necessary information himself and create a login and password. You can enable employees to access locations, cashboxes, and warehouses via user roles and in the employee dialog window.

Beforehand you need to add a new employee to your Subscription Plan on the “Settings> Subscription” page.

Remember: Orderry automatically changes your Subscription Plan and recalculates the new subscription duration. The system will require to pay for the new Plan if you have insufficient days of the current subscription remaining. You can also renew your current Plan subscription and then add an employee.

Creating a new employee

Step 1. Navigate to the “Settings > Employees” page and hit the “+ Employee” button.

Step 2. Enter the employee's full name.

Step 3. Enter the Email. Please note, that field “Email” is unique for all users in the Orderry and two employees cannot have the same email address. Employees need to confirm their email.

Note: Fill this field carefully if you want your employee notifications to work correctly.

Step 4. Come up with a login and a password for the new employee account.

Remember: the “Login” field value is a unique user identifier in Orderry. You cannot have two employees with the same login.

Step 5. Enter the phone number of your new employee.

Note: Fill this field carefully if you want your employee notifications to work correctly. You can also configure Telegram notifications for your employees to send notifications via Telegram bot.

Step 6. Fill the “Employee name in Printed documents” field if necessary.

Fill out this field, so your Orderry Print Templates use the alternative employee name in the {Order Created By}, {Order Specialist Name}, {Order Manager Name}, {Order Closed By} variables.

Step 7. Fill the “Comment” field if necessary.

The “Comment” field allows you to enter any additional employee information.

Step 8. Check the “Drop user session daily” checkbox if necessary.

Use this feature to enhance security in your company. After breaking the user session, the employee will be forced to enter his login and password to sign in into the account. Also, this function will be useful in conjunction with the IP Whitelist for tracking the time employees arrive at work, which you can see in the “Orderry Login History” report.

Step 9. Assign a user role to a new employee.

The User role is a set of employee rights and permissions.

Step 10. Configure the cashbox and location access for a new employee.

Step 11. Hit the “Save” button.

That's it. You now have a new employee you can find in the employee list! 😉

Now you can configure employee payroll.

Inviting an employee to the Orderry

If you want the employee to specify the necessary information himself and come up with a login and password, you can send him an invitation. To do this, follow these steps.

Step 1. Click the “Invite an employee” button on the “Settings > Employees” page.

Step 2. Specify the email to which the invitation will be sent in the “Email” field.

Step 3. Specify a user role for an employee. The User role is a set of employee rights and permissions.

Step 4. Check the “Drop user session daily” checkbox if necessary.

Step 5. Configure the cashbox and location access and click the “Send an invitation” button.

Invited employees who have not yet created an account in Orderry are displayed at the bottom of the table with the “Invitation sent” mark.

The invited employee will receive an email. He needs to click “Create an account”.

Then the employee fills in the fields: “Password”, “First Name”, “Last Name”, “Phone”, and clicks on the “Join” button.

Thus, the employee himself creates his dialog window which you can edit then.

Important: if for some reason your employee cannot receive the email, you can send the invite link in any other convenient. To do this, double-click on the name of the invited employee and copy this link or change the Email and click “Resend an invitation” if a mistake was made in the email.

Editing and removing employees from the employee dialog window

Orderry allows you to edit any employee field. Change employee password, user roles, location, cashbox, and warehouse access, modify employee payroll. Don't forget to confirm the changes by pressing the “Save” button.

You can also remove employees from your Orderry system. Remove an employee from the dialog window, then remove him or her from the Subscription Plan.

Remember: employees you remove must have no tasks and orders assigned to them. You have to reassign their orders and tasks to another employee in order to remove them from the system.
