Data security
To ensure data security, the Software is hosted on dedicated servers in reliable data centers in Council Bluffs, Iowa, North America.
All traffic coming from the user in order to protect against DDoS attacks is proxied through the Cloudflare global network. To further ensure the security of information exchange, we encrypt all traffic between you and our servers.
To ensure data preservation, we perform a full backup of your data to GCP (Google Cloud Platform) every two hours and a full backup to AWS (Amazon Web Services) every day.
Backups of your data on GCP are stored for 30 days in a reliable data center in Council Bluffs, Iowa (us-central1-b). Also, the Point-in-time recovery feature on GCP allows you to restore data at a specific moment in time (up to 7 days) with a split-second accuracy thanks to the archiving of the change log.
Backups of your data on AWS are stored on servers in a data center in Ohio (us-east-2):
daily copies are available for 30 days, and are used for short- and medium-term rollback and disaster recovery;
monthly copies are available for 2 years and are used for long-term controlled recovery and historical restore within the approved retention period.
All backups in AWS are automatically encrypted. Both daily and monthly backups cannot be accidentally deleted or overwritten. If a backup file is updated or replaced with a file of the same name, AWS keeps it as a separate version instead of overwriting it, ensuring the integrity of your data.
Protection of collected information
We make every reasonable effort to protect data privacy. All data we collect is stored on one or more secure database servers and cannot be accessed outside our corporate network. Only those employees of the company who need to perform job functions that require access to personal information of users have access to information about users.
All employees who have access to user information have signed a non-disclosure agreement with third parties.
