How to Create and Work with a Posting Draft Document

Learn how to work with receiving drafts, edit products, and prepare documents before completing stock receiving operations

When creating a posting document, you don’t have to finish it right away. If you need to take a break, check the information, or come back to it later, use the “Draft” feature.

To save the current state of the document, click the “Save as draft” button. After that, all entered data will be saved, and you can continue working later.

After saving, the draft will appear in the list of posting documents. These documents do not receive a posting number until they are processed and display their creation date.

To continue working, open the desired draft from the list of documents, make the necessary changes, and post the document, or save the document again as a draft.

Note:

  • drafts are accessible only to the employee who created them;

  • there is no limit to the number of times a draft can be saved;

  • changes can be made until the document is processed;

  • if necessary, a draft can be deleted if it is no longer needed.
