With Orderry, you can keep your clients updated via SMS and Email notifications. Client notifications are triggered by order events you configure on the “Settings > Notifications” page.
Remember: you should configure your client notifications for each of your locations separately.
Create and configure notifications / reminders
Follow these steps to add client notifications:
Step 1. Select the target location (if you have multiple locations) and hit the “+ Notification” button.
Step 2. Choose the event that will trigger notifications from a dropdown list.
There are several order-related events you can select from:
- Order created. Clients receive notifications upon the order creating (as soon as you hit the “Create” button).
- Order status changed. Clients receive notifications each time the order status changes (all statuses).
- Order status changed to. Bind your client notifications to a specific status change event. Select this option to open a dropdown list of available statuses for this event.
- Schedule time has changed. Clients receive notifications each time the date and time changes in the “Scheduled for” field in the order.
For example, a client signed up for you on April 7 at 13:00, but then called and rescheduled the recording on April 8 at 14:00. After you change the recording time in the order and save the changes, a notification will be sent to the client with the new recording time, according to the specified template.
Step 3. Select the notification type: SMS or Email. (if client's phone number and email address are set in the client dialog window).
Remember: to send a notification, “Agrees to receive SMS” or “Agrees to receive Email” checkbox should be checked in the client's dialog window.
Step 4. Check the “Delayed sending” checkbox if needed. Specify the delay time the system will use to send your notification.
For instance, you can configure SMS client notification that the system will send 1 hour after the order is closed.
Step 5. Check the “Send notification during working hours” checkbox to send notifications only during the working hours configured in the location settings.
Step 6. Select an existing notification template or create a new one. Hit the “Save” button.
Follow these steps to add client reminders:
Step 1. Select the target location (if you have multiple locations) and hit the “+ Reminder” button.
Note: that you can send reminders only to clients whose recording time is specified. That is, in the order form there is a system field “Scheduled for” and the time is set in the “Scheduled for” field.
Step 2. Select the reminder type: SMS or Email. (if client's phone number and email address are set in the client dialog window).
Remember: to send a reminder, “Agrees to receive SMS” or “Agrees to receive Email” checkbox should be checked in the client's dialog window.
Step 3. Set how much time before recording, you need to send a reminder to the client. The value can be set in minutes, hours or days.
Step 4. Select an existing notification template or create a new one. Hit the “Save” button.
Done! Now a reminder will be sent to the client, which, like the notification, will be displayed in the order event feed.
Edit and delete notifications / reminders
Click on the name of the notification on the “Settings > Notifications” page. Edit and hit the “Save” button or hit the remove button.
