Follow these steps to copy a document template from one location to another.

Step 1. Go to the “Settings > Print Templates” page and select the document.

Step 2. Click on the “Source Code” button and copy the entire code in the window that opens.

Step 3. Go to another location and create a new document. Click on the “Source Code” button and paste the previously copied code there. Click “OK” and then “Save”.

Important: groups of documents must be the same, as there are variables that work exclusively in their group.

For example, the variable {Order Number} will not work in the “Sales” document group.

You can always remove a variable that does not work in this group and select the appropriate one from the list on the right.

Please note: Although templates can be moved between different document groups (for example, from the “Work Orders and Estimates” group to the “Invoices” group), doing so is not recommended. Each document group has its own set of variables, so after moving a template, some fields may lose their values or function incorrectly, which will affect the accuracy of the document.
