Learn how to set up and what to use the Work Order Status Widget for

Work Order Status Widget is installed on your website so your customers can check a work order status by their phone number.

Important: this integration is available starting from the Startup plan.

To install the widget go to Settings > Integrations, find the Work Order Status Widget in the Other block, and click the Configure button.

Please note that before setting up the integration, you must check the “Integration enabled”.

Step 1. Select the location of the widget on your website

First, you need to select the Button type.

When choosing the Floating type, you need to specify in which part of your website the widget button will be displayed (left or right, top or bottom) — click on the location you need.

Set the distance at which the widget button will be located. The value is defined in px vertically and horizontally from the nearest edge of the screen to the edge of the button.

When you choose the Built-in button type, you can place the button in any place on your website (in the header, at the end of the advertising text, on a specific landing page, or when you click on a page element).

Step 2. Customize the design of the widget

Button color. Here you can choose a color using the built-in palette.

Description. The value of this field will be displayed below the Work Order Status. Here you can describe what your customers need to do and what they will see (up to 140 characters).

Status groups for which the order amount is not displayed. In this field, you can select status groups for which the work order amount will not be displayed.

For example, while the work order is in progress, its amount may change due to adding/removing labors and materials. In this case, you need to check the checkbox in the status group "New", "In progress" and "Pending" so that your customers see the work order amount only when their work order is in the status "Ready" or "Delivery".

Important: the customer will see the total amount of the work order excluding prepayment or any other additional payments.

Configure exceptions for displaying status names. Check this box so that instead of the name of one of the statuses, the client sees another name in the search results.

For example, you have the "Outsourced" status. You can configure an exception so that these statuses are displayed as "In progress" in the search results.

To do so, click the + Exception button. Select the status which you want to change. In the For client show field, specify the name that your client should see and save the changes.

All added exceptions are displayed in the table. To edit an exception, double-click on its name. Be sure to save your changes. To delete an exception, select it using the checkbox and click the delete button.

Click the Preview button to see what your widget will look like. If the widget is displayed correctly, you can proceed to the next step.

In the end, be sure to click the Save button in the configuration window so that all changes are updated and the widget is displayed correctly on your website.

Step 3. Add the widget to your website

To add a widget to your website with the Floating button type you need to do the following:

1. Copy the entire code using the Copy code button in the widget configuration window.

2. Paste the copied widget code into the source code of your website before the </body> tag. You can place it anywhere you need.

For example, you can place the code to make the widget appear on a specific page or on all pages of your site.

To add a widget with the Built-in button type to your website you should ask your programmer to add a button in the right place that will initiate the showing up of the widget by calling the function widget.open()

E.g.: <button class="my_btn" onclick="window.__statusWidget.open()">Check order status</button>
