If you have integrated payment service providers, you can initiate payment for an order directly from the mobile app — via a payment link/QR code or a public order page.
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to do it:
Payment link
Create a payment link
1. Log in to your account in the Orderry mobile application. Go to the work orders section and select the specific work order to which you want to create a link for payment.
2. In the work order view dialog, find the “+ Payment link” button. (This button is displayed only if you have integration with Stripe payment service configured). Click on the “+ Payment link” button, and the form for creating a payment will open.
3. Enter the required amount for payment in the appropriate field.
4. After entering the amount, click the “Create payment” (IOS) or “Save” (Android) button.
Using a QR code
If you have enabled the use of QR codes when creating a payment, then after creating a payment, you will be automatically redirected to the payment view page.
A QR code will be displayed on this page. This code contains a link to the payment form.
You can show the QR code to the customer using your phone or other device. The customer can scan the code with their mobile phone and make the payment immediately.
To scan the QR code, the customer needs to use any mobile QR code scanning application or the built-in scanner in the smartphone.
Copying and sending a payment link
If you need to send a link to a payment form to a customer, press and hold the QR code on your device's screen. This will copy the URL to the clipboard.
The copied link can be sent to the customer in any messenger or e-mail.
Public page
Open the desired order in the mobile app and click on the three dots in the upper right corner. Select “Public page”.
A standard window for sharing the link will open in the app. You can:
send it to the customer in a messenger;
open it in a browser;
copy the link and share it in a convenient way.
By opening the public page, the client, depending on the settings and order status, will be able to view it, confirm it, leave a signature, and even pay immediately. To pay, the client needs to click the “Pay” button. After that, they will be redirected to the payment page according to the merchant configured for the public page.
