Support for Estimates and Incomplete Orders, Tickets, and Jobs
We’re thrilled to announce that the Orderry Work Orders mobile app now supports estimates and incomplete orders (also referred to as tickets and jobs), giving you more flexibility and control over your workflows, wherever you are.
What’s New
With this update, estimates are now fully accessible in the Workflows section of the mobile app, right alongside orders. Here’s what you can do with these enhanced features:
Create Estimates: Quickly generate estimates on the go, adding essential details, services, and products as needed.
Update Estimates: Edit estimate details, change statuses, add items, upload files, and add comments, all from your mobile device.
Convert Estimates to Orders: Seamlessly convert estimates to orders, tickets, or jobs whenever you’re ready to proceed.
Streamlined Product Management in Orders
Managing products within orders, tickets, or jobs is now more flexible with better control over stock deductions. Here’s how it works:
Add Products Without Stock Deduction: When you add a product to an order without deducting from stock, the action is recorded as "Product added" in the event feed.
Deduct Products from Stock: If you choose to deduct a product from stock, it will be noted as "Product deducted from stock" in the event feed.
To add products, simply:
Tap the + Product button.
Select the product and enter the required quantity.
Choose your action:
Save to add the product without deducting from stock.
Deduct the product from stock and then click Save.
Managing Incomplete Orders
Orders containing undeducted products are now automatically classified as incomplete and marked with a distinctive icon which makes it easier to identify orders that require further actions before they can be completed.
Key details about incomplete orders:
Conversion from Estimates: When you convert an estimate to an order, all associated products are initially added without deduction from stock.
Closing Restrictions: Incomplete orders with undeducted products cannot be moved to a closed status. To close these orders, either deduct the required products from stock or remove them from the document.
Sharing Estimates and Orders with Clients
Every estimate and order in the mobile app now includes a Public Page option in the actions menu. This feature allows you to send a link to the document’s public page to a client or instantly open it on your device.
And as a reminder, our recent updates introduced new settings for public pages of estimates and orders, including the option to collect client signatures. Now, field workers can display the public page directly on their device, allowing clients to sign immediately.
Support for Multi-Pricing of Services
Previously, we introduced the multi-pricing feature for services in the Orderry web version. Now, this feature is available in the mobile app too!
If you’ve configured multiple prices for services, including company-wide or location-specific default prices, they’ll now work seamlessly in the mobile app. When you add a service to an order, ticket, job, or estimate, it will automatically apply the default company or location price. However, by tapping the Unit price field, you can easily select any other price you have access to.
Automaker Logos for Easier Identification
If you work in the automotive industry, identifying vehicles in work orders just got simpler. The Orderry Work Orders mobile app now automatically displays logos for most car manufacturers, including BMW, Audi, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, and more.
Logos appear in vehicle lists, work orders, and estimates, making it easier to quickly identify the associated car.
Enhanced Employee Selection
Assigning employees to orders, estimates, and tasks has never been easier! The employee list now includes profile pictures, helping you quickly identify team members. Plus, the list is now searchable—no more endless scrolling through large teams. Simply type the employee’s name in the search bar to find them in seconds.
Redesigned Sale Viewing Dialog
We’ve reorganized the sale viewing interface to make it more intuitive. When viewing a sale, you’ll now see the sold items first, followed by client information and additional details. This layout helps you focus on what’s most important—the sale itself—before diving into related info.
To start using all the new features, update your app to the latest version. If you haven’t installed it yet, now is the perfect time to do it–just follow the link to download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
What’s Coming Next in the Mobile App
As you might have noticed on the Home page, we’re going to add the Products section where you’ll be able to create, edit, delete products. Beside that, we’re working on support of multiple prices for services, bundles, and other improvements for the Orderry Work Orders mobile app.
