We are excited to introduce three new features that will make managing your orders and team in Orderry easier than ever. These updates are designed to improve efficiency and add more visual clarity to your workflow. Let’s dive into the details!
Display Asset Images on the Board and Table View
Easily identify the assets (also known as devices, vehicles, vessels) you’re working with at a glance! You can now display asset images directly on order cards in both the Board and Table views.
If an asset contains multiple images, the cover image set in the asset’s profile will appear on the Board view.
How to Enable or Disable Asset Images:
Board View: Click the Settings button and check/uncheck the "Display asset image" option.
Table View: Click the Settings button and check/uncheck the "Image" option.
Tip: Remember, assets in your workflow can also be referred to as devices, vehicles, vessels, and more. Similarly, orders can be named jobs or tickets.
Automaker Logos for Vehicles
For businesses in the automotive industry, identifying vehicles in work orders just got a whole lot simpler! If a vehicle profile doesn’t contain an image, the Board and Table views will now display the automaker’s logo for better visibility.
This feature covers most major brands, including BMW, Audi, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, and more.
On the Board view, both the car image and the logo are shown. In the table, the logo appears in the "Image" column when no custom images have been added for the vehicle.
Improved Default Avatars for Employees
We've improved how employee avatars work to enhance team management. Users who previously had the default Orderry logo as their avatar will now have automatically generated avatars featuring the first letter of their name instead of the Orderry logo.
This improvement will come in handy when we release updated employee lists displaying avatars and enabling search functionality. Assigning employees to orders, tickets, tasks, chats, and more will become significantly easier.
Additionally, we’ve removed the “Can edit their profile” permission from employee role settings. Now, every Orderry user can update their avatar, name, and email at any time.
This marks the beginning of a new approach to user profiles, a concept we plan to focus on next year. Our vision includes the ability to:
Use the same email across multiple Orderry accounts.
Link multiple companies to a single account.
Manage franchises efficiently.
