Dividing bundles into categories speeds up your search and helps you structure them.
A bundle category is a collection of bundles of a certain class.
By default, Orderry has a main category “All bundles” that cannot be edited or deleted. You can create or edit other categories and subcategories within it.
Create a new category
Creating a category on the My company > Bundles page
Step 1. Click the “+ Category” button.
Step 2. Write the name of the category and specify the “Parent category”.
You can use the root category to build a category tree. This field has a search function, so you can quickly find the required root category.
For example, we create the category “Comprehensive diagnostics” and bundle the root category to “All bundles”. Then we create the categories “Mobile phones” and “Tablets”, and for them, we select “Equipment repair” as the root category.
In the future, you can immediately select the root category on the left, and then click “+ Category”. Thus, the selected root category will be automatically inserted into the corresponding field.
Step 3. Click the “Create” button.
Creating a category when creating a new bundles
If you didn't find the right category when creating a new bundles, you can create a new category directly in the bundles card.
Step 1. Click the “+ Category” button next to the field of the same name.
Step 2. Write a name, select the Root Category, and click the Create button.
Working with the category table
After adding bundles, the number of bundles will be displayed in the list of categories.
Please note that the sum of the number of bundles in subcategories may not be the same as the root category, because the root category may also have its own bundles.
Click on the category name to open the list of bundles in it on the right.
To move a category, hold down and drag it to another desired root category.
Edit and delete a category
To edit or delete a category, double-click on the category name. Make and save your changes or click the delete button as appropriate.
Important: you cannot delete a category that is in use. That is, you need to move all the bundles from this category to another one first.
Change the category in the bundle card
Open the bundle card. In the Category field, select or find the desired category and click the Save button.
