We're excited to introduce Tap to Pay in Orderry Mobile App for Android. Your team can now accept contactless payments from physical cards, smartphones, and other NFC-enabled devices using only an NFC-enabled Android phone.
This makes it easy to collect payments on-site without carrying additional hardware. It's ideal for field technicians, mobile service teams, couriers, and businesses looking for a fast, cost-effective way to accept payments anywhere.
How Tap to Pay Works in Orderry Mobile App
Before accepting Tap to Pay payments, connect a supported payment provider and enable Tap to Pay in your Orderry account. Tap to Pay is currently available with Stripe.
Once the integration is set up, you can start accepting payments in Orderry Mobile App.
To process a payment:
In Orderry, select the financial account linked to your Stripe merchant account with Tap to Pay enabled.
Tap Tap to Pay and wait for your phone's NFC reader to initialize. The first initialization after a long period of inactivity may take up to 10 seconds. After that, it typically takes less than a second.
Ask your customer to tap their contactless card or smartphone against your phone.
Once the payment is approved, the transaction is automatically recorded in Orderry.
There's no need to enter payment details manually or reconcile amounts afterward—everything stays synchronised automatically.
What You Need to Get Started
