Each employee in Orderry has a User profile where they can edit or add their personal data, increase account security with two-factor authentication, view salary details, or log out of their account.

Click on the avatar in the upper left corner of Orderry to go to the User profile. Here you can see the Personal Info, Security, and My compensation sections as well as a “Log out” button.

Personal info

There are 3 sections on the personal data page: Basic info, Preferences, and Connected Apps.

Basic info

In the Basic info section, the user can change or delete the avatar photo, change the name, surname, email and phone number.

You can change your avatar to a personal one or choose from those offered by Orderry.

Please note that the “Email” field is unique for everyone in the Orderry system, so no two employees can have the same email. After changing the email address, you need to confirm it.

Preferences

In the Preferences section, the user can change the profile language. To do this, select the preferred language and save the settings.

Connected Apps

Here you can also connect your Xero account, if you have a Xero integration enabled or your QuickBooks account if you have a QuickBooks integration enabled.

Security

On this page, users can change the password or enable two-factor authentication to log in to the account.

Changing Passwords

Enter the current password and create a new one. Click Save.

To ensure the security of your account, your password must meet the following requirements:

  • minimum 8 characters;

  • at least 1 uppercase letter;

  • at least 1 lowercase letter;

  • at least 1 digit.

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

To start setting up two-factor authentication, click the “Enable” button.

Step 1. Install the Authenticator app.

Download Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or another two-factor authentication app from the App Store or Google Play.

Step 2. Scan the QR code.

Open the installed app, tap the "+" button, and scan the QR code.

Step 3. Enter authorization code.

Enter the code generated by the Authenticator app and click “Save”.

You have successfully enabled two-factor authentication!

Step 4. Save the 6 passwords shown in the two-factor authentication field.

Important: this is the only time you’ll see them in an unencrypted form, as the next time you visit this page or refresh it, these passwords will be encoded.

You can either download them in a .txt file or copy and paste in the location of your choosing.

If you ever reset your authenticator app, you won’t be able to sign in without these passwords. You can use them as an alternative to the code generated by the authenticator app.

Please note that each password can be used only once.

Done! Now when you sign in to your Orderry account via web version and/or mobile app, you will need to enter the code from your authenticator app.

To disable the two-factor authentication, click on the “Disable” button and confirm the action by clicking “Continue”.

Enter the code generated in authenticator app and click “Disable” again.

The two-factor authentication was disabled successfully.

My payroll

On this page, users can see basic data about their own salary.

The current balance is a sum of all work orders, sales, postings, and payments where the employee is a client or supplier. The current balance is affected by the accrued salary.

Clicking on Current Balance opens a window displaying all transactions.

An amount with a + (plus) sign means that the company owes this amount to the employee.

An amount with a - (minus) sign means that the employee owes this amount to the company. The current balance can be a negative amount in several cases:

Example 1. An employee is paid weekly, but according to the payroll rules, the salary is always calculated in the next month. Accordingly, each such payment will affect the employee's current balance because, without accrual, there is no payment obligation from the company.

Example 2. You have already accrued and paid salaries, but then you found some errors in the calculation for the previous month. E.g., you deleted a sale or a work order, and the "Cancel payment for deleted documents or products" checkbox was checked in the rules. Thus, these cancellations for the previous month create a minus in the current month.

Compensation calculation rules — here, users can see their current base salary and applicable commissions.

To accrue — this displays the calculated amount of the current month's salary that has not yet been accrued to the employee's balance.

Estimated amount to pay — the amount that consists of the already accrued and calculated (i.e. not yet accrued) salary is displayed here.

Below, you’ll find a table with the salary calculations for an employee for each month. The accrued payments are marked with green check marks, and the payments that have not yet been accrued are marked in orange.

Double-click on the row with the calculation to see more detailed information.
