There are differences in writing off serial and non-serial products.
Non-Serial Product Write-Off
The write-off of non-serial products from the stock is performed using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. In other words, the products posted first will be the first to be written off.
In this case, you cannot choose the batch from which the write-off will be made. Products are written off on a line and in automatic mode.
Write-off of Serial Products
When writing off serial products you enter their serial number, so you can choose the batch. You can find information about the batch, purchase price, and supplier of goods in the product unit passport. To do this, click on its serial number.
