In this article, you will learn how to transfer data from other systems to Orderry.

Please note that the methods described in the article are suitable for universal migration from other systems, such as RepairDesk, RepairShopr, ShopMonkey, Jobber etc.

Transferring customers

You can quickly transfer clients from another system using import.

1. First, you need to export clients (contacts) from another system.

2. In Orderry, go to the “Clients” page, click the Import button and upload an example Excel file.

3. Transfer clients information to the uploaded file. For more information about filling out the file for importing clients, see this article.

4. In the import window, click the Attach file button. Add the completed file and click the Import button.

More information about working with clients in Orderry can be found in this section Help Center.

Transferring products

Transferring information about products and their stock balances is done by importing and posting products.

Importing product features

By importing, you create product profiles that contain all the features and other important information about the products.

1. First, you need to export products from another system.

2. Go to the My company > Products page, click the Import button, and upload an example Excel file.

3. Transfer the product information to the uploaded file. For more information on filling out the file for importing products, see this article.

Please note that the file for importing products will not have a column for the quantity of products. This is because the balances of products are added using the products posting procedure, which will be described later in the article.

4. In the import window, click the Attach file button. Add the completed file and click the Import button.

Importing stock

With the help of posting, you can transfer the stock in the warehouse to be able to fully use warehouse accounting, analyze the assortment, take inventory, etc.

1. First, you need to export the stock balances from another system.

2. Go to the Inventory > Posting page and click the + Posting button. Specify the supplier and the warehouse to which you want to post the products. Then click the Import button.

Please note that to quickly transfer balances, you can specify yourself as a supplier so that you do not make many postings from different suppliers.

3. Download an example Excel file and transfer the information about the products to it. Find more information on filling out the file for posting products in this article.

4. In the import window, click the Attach file button. Add the completed file and click the Import button.

Next, you need to complete the posting, after which the specified balances of products will appear in the warehouse. More information about working with the warehouse in Orderry can be found in this section of the Help Center.

Transferring funds

For convenient work with Orderry, you need to enter information about the available funds on your accounts.

1. First, create all the necessary cash desks on the Finance > Payments page. Read more about creating and setting up cashboxes in this article.

2. Now you need to add the available cash to the appropriate cash desks. Click the + Income button and enter the amount. To prevent this amount from appearing in reports and distorting the statistics for the current month, you can add these cash deposits retroactively.

It's done! The initial capital has been deposited. You can find more information about working with finances in Orderry in this section of the Help Center.
