Improved Employee Picker in Orders, Leads, Tasks, and More

We’ve upgraded the employee picker across the entire system:

  • When assigning managers and technicians in orders, tickets, or jobs

  • When selecting assignees in tasks

  • When assigning managers to leads, invoices, and chats

  • When selecting employees in reports

The updated widget now displays employee profile pictures for a more intuitive selection process. Plus, it’s searchable! If you have a large team, you can easily find the right employee without scrolling through the list—just use the search function.

Additionally, we’ve moved the order manager and assigned technician fields higher up so you can quickly see this critical information.

Payer Field in Orders Now Available for All Plans

Previously, the Payer field in orders, tickets, and jobs was available only with the Business and Enterprise plans. We’re excited to announce that this field is now accessible to all subscription plans!

To enable the Payer field and specify payers separately from clients, go to Settings > Forms Editor and add the Payer field to your forms.

Expanded Payer Variables for Order Print Documents

Building on our recent Invoice update, we’ve expanded the list of variables available in print documents for orders, tickets, and jobs. A new section dedicated to the Payer’s information is now available, allowing you to include the necessary data in your documents.

Bundle Categories

Now, with the Startup plan and higher, you can not only create bundles of products and services but also organize them into categories. This allows you to differentiate bundles based on their purpose, contents, and more.

This means that when adding bundles to orders, tickets, or jobs you can first select the desired category and then pick the specific bundle from it.

Also, in the near future, you'll be able to specify a stock location for each bundle category. Non-serial products from bundles will then be automatically deducted from the selected stock.

Employee access to view, create, edit, and delete bundles is managed by the same permissions as access to bundles themselves:

To modify employee access rights, go to Settings > Employees > Roles. You can find detailed instructions on working with bundle categories by this link.

Required Manager and Technician Fields for Orders

If you want to make sure that managers and an assigned technicians are always specified when creating orders, tickets, and jobs you can now make these fields mandatory.

This setting is configured at the order type level. To enable it, navigate to Settings > Forms Editor and mark these fields as required for the relevant document types.
