With the help of the analytical report “Provided Services” you can track the effectiveness of the work performed and gain a deeper understanding of the sales of services provided and which services are most popular.
This report will allow you to:
assess the prospects of a particular group of services;
see the number of services and work provided for each employee;
find out how much profit each employee brings to the company from the services provided;
To generate the report, go to Reports > Assortment Analysis > Provided Services.
First, set the parameters for generating the report.
1. Period — allows you to select the time period for which the turnover will be displayed: today, yesterday, this week, this month, last week, last month, this year, or select the dates yourself.
2. Location — allows you to analyze one/several/all locations (if there is more than one).
3. Document types — specify which documents to take data from for analysis:
All — all services sold and work orders will be displayed;
Work orders — only services added to work orders will be displayed;
Sales — only services added to sales will be displayed.
4. Category — the ability to specify a specific category of services for analysis.
5. Group by — in this field, you can select the principle for grouping the display: by services, categories, or employees.
This way, you can analyze:
specific services;
types of services by categories;
employees who sell services or add them to work orders.
After selecting the desired parameters, click the “Apply” button.
The report is generated in the form of a table with the following columns:
Service name / Service category name / Employee name;
Quantity — the number (displayed in the unit of measurement specified when creating the service) of services sold during the selected period;
Price (“per unit” and ‘Total’) — the amount per unit and the total amount received for the service sold;
Discount — the total amount of the discount for the service;
Cost (“per unit” and “Total”) — the cost per unit and the total cost of services sold;
Profit — the total amount of profit for services sold;
Profit is calculated using the following formula: Price (total) — Discount — Cost (total).
Markup — shows the total markup on the cost in %.
Markup is the part of the price that we added to the cost. The markup is calculated using the formula: Profit (total) / Cost (total) * 100%.
Markup indicators are based on the values relative to each other. For better visual perception of the report, a positive value is indicated by green, and a negative value is indicated by red.
The values are based on the maximum markup value for the service in the table. For markups, they can be over 100%. That is, if at the beginning you see a service with a value of 70% and less than half of the indicator is filled in green, it means that below there is a service with a markup much higher than 100%.
This column allows you to adjust pricing.
Pay attention to services with a negative markup value. This means that the service is being sold at a loss and you may need to review the pricing on the Settings > Prices and Discounts page.
Marginality is the part of the price that remains after deducting the cost price and is expressed as a percentage.
Marginality is calculated using the formula: Profit (total) / Price (total) * 100%.
For margin, the values will always range from 0% to 100%, so the indicator in this column is displayed in blue. The higher the margin percentage, the more profitable the service or category of services is. If you are viewing a report on employees, you can use margin to see which employees are selling more profitable services.
At the bottom of the table, you can view the total amounts for all indicators for the selected period.
You can print the report or export it to your PC as an Excel file. The Excel file will contain columns with the customer's name and the account name. Click on “Actions” and select the desired action.
You can also customize the display of columns in this report. To do this, click the table button and check the boxes next to the columns you want to display.
