Automatic Contact Creation from Calls

In Settings > Telephony, you can configure automatic creation of inquiries from incoming calls — both missed and answered. Now, if this feature is enabled and an incoming call comes from a phone number that doesn’t exist in your database, Orderry will automatically create a new contact.

The contact name will be generated as Auto-created contact + provider name + phone number, for example: Auto-created contact Zadarma +18904899535. The responsible manager can later update the contact’s name while processing the inquiry.

An inquiry will also be created, with this new contact set as the client. The inquiry will be assigned to one of the employees selected in Settings > Telephony (assigned in rotation). This employee will also be automatically assigned as the contact’s manager.

System Address Field for Orders, Assets, and Contacts

In Settings > Forms Editor for Orders & Estimates, Assets, and Contacts, a new system field Address is now available. You can add it to any form as needed.

When you enter an address, a button appears next to the field that opens the specified address in Google Maps or Apple Maps.

This lets you enter, for example:

  • a service address for an order,

  • the current location of an asset (device, vehicle, etc.),

  • a home address or office address for a contact.

Your specialists or technicians can then simply click the map button to quickly build a route to that location—both on the web and in the mobile app.

In addition to the system field, a new custom field type Address is now available for all forms, including Inquiries and Products.

It works similarly to the system field, but with one important difference. In the future, Orderry will introduce a map view alongside the Kanban board, table, and calendar. For example, you’ll be able to see several addresses at once to track where your employees are currently working. This map view will work only with the system Address field. Custom address fields will not appear on the map.

Please note that this field currently has no connection to invoices — this will be handled separately.

Location Address Variable in Notification Templates for Bookings and Orders

Do you have multiple locations and need to include the correct address in your Booking and Order notifications? Good news — you no longer need separate templates for each location. You can now use the new variable {Location Address}, which automatically inserts the correct address based on the location of the booking or order.

Just make sure each location has an address specified in Settings > Locations.
