In this article, you will learn how to add or edit works and materials in work orders via the Orderry App.
Adding Works or Services to a Work Order
1. Open a work order.
2. On the Order Details tab in the Services and Products section, tap + Service.
3. Select a labor/service.
You can do this in several ways:
select a service from the list
tap the search icon to find a service by name (minimum 3 characters)
tap the scanner icon to find a service by barcode
If a labor/service you look for is not yet in the Labors and Services List, tap the + button and select Service or Labor. Specify the price and other characteristics of the labor/service and tap Add.
You can change the price of a labor/service by choosing from the prices available to you on this location. You can also enter a new price value if you have the “Can edit service price” permission enabled.
Save the changes.
If necessary, this item can be saved in your general Labors and Services List.
4. Tap Done.
Adding Products to a Work Order
1. Open a work order.
2. On the Order Details tab in the Services and Products section, tap + Product.
3. Select the warehouse from which you want to add the product.
Note that you can only select products from one warehouse at a time. That is, if you need to add goods from different warehouses, you need to add them from one warehouse first, and then from another one.
4. Select a product.
You can do this in several ways:
select a product from the list
tap the search icon to find a product by name (minimum 3 characters)
tap the scanner icon to search for a product by barcode or serial number (if serialization is enabled)
If a product you look for is out of stock, tap the + button and tap Product. Specify the price and other characteristics of the product and tap Add.
Please note that, like in the web version, a product added in this way will only be taken into account when calculating commissions and profit on the work order. This is due to the fact that it has not been posted to the warehouse which means this product cannot be kept in stock.
5. Specify the quantity of the item.
For serial products, you can scan serial number barcodes or select serial numbers manually.
For non-serial products just specify the quantity.
Please note that if you use bin locations, you need to specify the bin and the number of items to be written off.
Also, when adding a product, you can change the price by selecting from the available prices on this location. You can also enter a new price value if you have the “Can edit the price of products” permission enabled.
Save the changes.
6. Tap Done.
Editing and Deleting Services and Products in Work Orders
To edit added labors, services and products, follow these steps:
1. Open a work order.
2. On the Order Details tab in the Services and Products section, tap an item you want to edit.
3. You can change the price per unit, cost price, discount, warranty, quantity, technician of the performed labor/service/used product, and add a comment.
Please note that it is not possible to change the number of added items. To do this, you need to remove the product from the work order and add it again in another quantity.
Save the changes, and then save the work order.
To delete added works and parts, follow these steps:
1. Open a work order.
2. On the Order Details tab in the Service and Products section, tap an item you want to delete and then Delete.
Do not forget to save the work order.
