The Estimate Event Feed is located on the right side of the estimate and displays employees' actions.

Events cannot be deleted from the feed, so you can see everything that has happened to the estimate.

The following events are recorded here:

  • changing an estimate status, type, deadline

  • changing a client, location, manager, or technician in the estimate

  • adding/deleting labors and products in the estimate

  • adding a comment, photo, or document to the estimate

  • creating a task from the estimate (a crossed-out task is a completed one)

  • sent text messages

  • information about the client's call with the name of the caller and the ability to listen to the call directly in the estimate (if you have VoIP integration set up)

When you hover over an event, you can see the date, time, and name of the employee who performed the action.

Managing Tasks, Files, and Comments

You can perform the following actions in the estimate event feed:

1. Create a task, add a photo or file. To do this, click on the "+" icon at the bottom and select the action you need:

  • Create a task that will be associated with this estimate

  • Take a photo using a webcam and add it to this estimate

  • Attach a file which can be an image or document from a PC

Note: the file size should not exceed 5 MB.

2. Add a public or private comment. Just start typing at the bottom of the event feed to do this. By default, the comment is public, but you can click on the eye icon to make it private if you need to.

  • Public comments are displayed for all employees who have access to the estimate.

  • A private comment can be seen only by the employee who created it, regardless of access rights. For convenience, private comments are highlighted in yellow.

Note that pressing the Enter button will send the comment, and Shift + Enter will move to the next line.

Feed Viewing Options

At the top, a toggle allows you to see "All Events" or only "Comments."

If necessary, you can hide and expand the event feed. To do so, click the corresponding arrow.
