Edit existing notification templates and create new ones for your Work Orders and Leads on the “Settings > Notifications > Templates'' page.

Creating new notification templates for Work Orders

Notification templates for Work Orders have individual settings for each location.

1. Go to the “Settings > Notifications > Work Orders” page, then select a location (if you have multiple ones) and press “+ Template”.

2. Get a dialog window for template creation, complete details (title, message), and press “Save”.

Use variables from the list on the right to add dynamic data that Orderry will automatically fill from the corresponding fields in your Work Order forms and Client forms. Variable values in templates look different in ready-to-send notifications.

For instance, the {Client Name} variable value can be Bob (3 characters) or Joseline Stone (14 characters).

This determines the number of characters in notifications (length), and this may in turn lead to sending multiple SMS for too long messages. Read here to learn more about SMS and the available character limit.

Done! Your first notification template for Work Orders has been successfully created.
