Bundles are a set of products or services that can be sold in one click. Creating and managing product bundles in modern business is an important component of effective inventory management and sales accounting. Bundles, or product sets, allow you to simplify the sales process and make it more efficient.

In this article, we'll look at the process of creating and managing bundles, and using them in work orders and estimates.

To work with bundles, you need to set up access rights for employees. Learn more in this article.

Creating a bundle:

  1. On the My company > Bundles page, click the +Bundle button.

  2. Enter the name of the bundle in the Name field (this field is required).

  3. Fill in the Description field, if necessary (for example, to describe the contents of the bundle or what it is used for).

  4. To speed up the search and addition of certain bundles to an work order or estimate, you can add or generate a Barcode using the Barcode widget.

  5. Next, add the required products, works, and services that are required for the bundle. Use the search bar to find all available products, works, and services.

  1. Make sure that the table displays the required information about the items in the bundle (Item, Price, Quantity, Amount).

  2. Click the “Create” button. (Please note that in order to create a bundle, the bundle must have a name and at least one item in its composition).

  3. After successful creation, the item will appear in the general table with bundles.

Edit a bundle:

  1. Click on the name of the Bundle (or double-click on the corresponding line) to open the edit dialog.

  2. Edit the necessary fields, such as Name, Description.

  3. To edit the price, quantity, discount, open the item editing window by double-clicking on it.

  4. Make sure that the table displays the correct information.

  5. Click the Save button to save your changes.

To delete a Bundle, select the corresponding bundle to be deleted and click the Delete button. This function requires that access rights are enabled.

Using bundles in Work Orders and Estimates:

  1. When you create a new work order or estimate, you can immediately add a Bundle on the Services and Products tab by searching for the name.

  2. Use the separate Bundles filter to search for a bundle. You can quickly find a bundle by its barcode or name. Using the barcode of a set, you can add it to a work order or estimate in one click.

Please note that if you add a set with a product that was already in the work order, the price, discount, and warranty do not change, only the quantity changes.

3. After selecting a bundle, enter the required quantity and click Save.

Its contents are added to the work order or estimate table in the appropriate quantity, cost, and discounts.

Important: If the bundle has products, it adds them as Non-deductible products.

At the same time, if the company does not use non-write-off products, the bundle does not add products to the work order, even if it has them.

To be able to add bundles with products to a work order, you need to enable the "Can add products without deduction" permission in the employee role in Settings > Employees > Roles.

Done! The bundle is added to the document.
