In this article, you will learn how to connect your Instagram channel for messaging. The integration will allow you to chat with clients who contact you on Instagram Direct without leaving Orderry.

Please note that you can only connect a professional Instagram account, which must be connected to a Facebook page. So, please do the preliminary settings for your Instagram account. The only limitation is connecting one business page to one Orderry account.

To connect Instagram to Orderry, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Settings > Chats page and click the + Channel button.

2. In the Source field, select Instagram and click the Connect button.

3. A new window will open, asking you to log in to your Facebook account. Click the Continue button.

Please note that you need to log in to the same Facebook account to which you connected the Instagram page.

4. Provide access to the user's business accounts.

5. Select the pages from which you want to receive notifications in Orderry. We recommend that you select access for all current and future pages. In the future, this access will allow you to connect any number of pages easily.

6. Select the Instagram accounts from which you want to receive notifications in Orderry. We recommend that you select access for all current and future accounts. In the future, this access will allow you to connect any number of Instagram accounts easily.

7. All required access will be selected automatically, so click the Save and the Got it buttons.

7. Done! Now you can choose one of the Instagram accounts. That is, if you have several Instagram accounts connected to several Facebook pages, you can connect each separately.

For example, you have 2 different Instagram accounts: Workshop 1 and Workshop 2.

8. Configure access to this page for employees: All, Selected, or Owner. If you set Selected, you can check the boxes on the right to select the employees who will have access to this page. If an employee does not have access to the page, they cannot see messages from it or communicate with clients on it.

9. Click the Create button.

Done! The created channel is now displayed in the general table with a status indication. Information on editing, deleting, and reconnecting channels you can find in this article.
